About Us
Chequer Tree Camp (CTC) began in 1987 when a group of Christians got together to provide a children's camp with a Christian ethos. Over the years, camp has developed into what it is today.

CTC is facilitated by The Family Trust, supported by a team of volunteers, (all who receive training and hold an enhanced DBS check).
CTC will be held at St Luke’s Church in Maidstone for 1 week during the summer holidays.
Many of the children who attend camp are from Kent and some from further afield.
Chequer Tree Camp is run by The Family Trust. The Family Trust is a Christian charity based in Maidstone, working in local primary schools across Maidstone, Medway and Swale to promote the Christian faith. Many of the children who attend camp have got to know us through the assemblies and school clubs we run.
While Chequer Tree Camp is a Christian camp, all children are welcome of all faiths or none and you will find children from a wide range of backgrounds. All the staff and volunteers who work with us do so because they love working with children. We do everything we can to make sure your child has the very best camp experience.
